QUALITY MANAGEMENT SYSTEM ISO 9001:2001

As we are continually striving to improve the services we offer to our clients, international quality and food safety standards have been implemented at „ARPOL”. ISO 9001:2000 norm - „Quality Management System – Requirements” has been selected. „ARPOL” was positively assessed by the certification institution. The conformity with quality assurance model accepted by “Arpol” in accordance with ISO 9001:2000 norm and Codex Alimentarius has been confirmed by quality certificates – at present in our possession.
These certificates assure the quality of manufactured products and services offered as well as our reliability to the potential consumers.

HACCP CONFORMITY CERTIFICATE

The HACCP system (Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Point) is a way to ensure food safety. It has been introduced in order to protect consumers’ health and life from contacts with improperly processed products and food. The System consists in analyzing all hazards both biological (especially microbiological), as well as physical and chemical which may decrease quality of the manufactured food, and in indicating control points at a given stage of food production.The HACCP System translates into PREVENTION of irregularities in food production and distribution process through the elimination of undesirable deviations and SELF-CONTROL at the plant.

AQAP 2120:2003 – NATO’s demands regarding quality assurance of production stage.
AQAP stands for Allied Quality Assurance Publication and is NATO’s standardization document that describes the demands regarding military supplies system. A legal basis for the document is another NATO’s standardization document – STANAG 4107.

Occupational safety and health management system is concurrent with resolutions included in „Guidelines on occupational safety and health management systems” (ILO – OSH 2001) document of International Labour Organization. Together with Polish safety norms the system serves as a set of national guidelines regarding voluntary implementation of occupational safety and health management systems, taking into account Polish law, conditions and practice. The basic aim of the PN-N 18001:2004 norm is to encourage improvements in occupational safety and health, by defining demands concerning effective management of the system. Effective occupational safety and health management is closely related to strategic actions of our company undertaken in order to increase its organizational and productive market-ability.

NCAGE codes are assigned to the national commercial and government entities the business of which is connected with the assortment of defense industry products included in classification pursuant to Codification for Defence Products and provision of services for the country’s defences. The codes are granted in accordance with the policy under authority of The Conference of National Armaments Directors (CNAD), guidelines of NATO Cadre Group of National Directors on Codification (AC/135) and procedures contained in The Allied Codification Publication Number 1 (ACodP-1) - NATO Supply Classification Handbook. „ARPOL” has an NCAGE code: 1126H (NATO Commercial and Government Entity). The company details have been entered into the National Database of Commercial and Government Entities and will be published in the NATO’s Database of Commercial and Government Entities (included in NATO Master Catalogue of References for Logistics). The assigned code is characteristic of the Company in NATO Codification System.

Contemporary history of Polish Chamber of National Defence Manufacturers is only ten years old. At present, the Chamber associates 147 state and private enterprises. In the period of recent 10 years the Chamber has initiated various actions with an aim of increasing technical and quality level of national defence manufacturers’ products. An essential part of Chamber’s activity consists in organizing trainings for representatives of Polish industry, as well as in encouraging communication between Polish and foreign producers. The Chamber also coordinates an exchange of experience, regarding technical, organizational and marketing solutions, between Polish and foreign producers. In 1999 the Chamber has issued, the only one so far, Polish armaments industry catalogue. The Chamber has signed a cooperation agreement with Polish Ministry of National Defence (12.08.1999).

„ARPOL” was positively assessed by the certification institution and received, as a first company in Poland, the certificate of product conformity for Individual Dry Food Ration (type S). The certificate confirms that a given product is produced according to all necessary standards.
